Translation services I translate from English, German and French into Swedish. Financial and technical text I've translated Swedish editions of The Economist's "The World In..." annual supplements - in 2000 for Finanstidningen (a now defunct Swedish business daily), then in 2001 and 2002 for Veckans Affärer (a Swedish business weekly). I've done many other odd translation jobs with an economic, business or technical angle. Customers include the translation agencies Novoterm and CBG. Television subtitling Since 1995 I've done hundreds of hours of television subtitling. Credits include "The Name of the Rose", "The Serpent's Egg", "Barton Fink", "Dial M for Murder", "Stalag 17", "Ripping Yarns" (a Monty Python series), "Bloody Mama", "Dr Phibes Rises Again" and a lot of talkshows. I prefer working on comedies, thrillers and documentaries. With the exception of a few German movies, all this work has been English to Swedish.
